These US banknote designs were created by Dowling Duncan for The Dollar Redesign Project to spark the failing economy with new design. The length of each note gets progressively longer to better count stacked money, and are in vertical format for easier usage. The notes show:

$1 – The first African American president
$5 – The five biggest native American tribes
$10 – The bill of rights, the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution
$20 – 20th Century America
$50 – The 50 States of America
$100 – The first 100 days of President Franklin Roosevelt.

Just a Minor Observation but..

Apple's Attention to Detail

“The average respiratory rate for adults is 12-20 breathes per minute, which is the rate that the sleep-indicator light fades in and out on most Apple laptops.”

Etsy find of the day: Because in the words of the description itself, “So that while children are coloring, they are also exposed to the names of chemicals that will make those colors! So instead of thinking “I want green” they will think “I want Barium Nitrate Ba(NO3)2…”
why would Sesame Street let Richard Pryor's high ass do the ABC's for the children?

Steve Stoute Feature in Time Magazine

Stoute is poised to translate the biggest trend on the horizon, what he calls "the tanning of America." The growing African-American, Hispanic and Asian-American populations together command an estimated $2 trillion in buying power. The tanning concept, he says, is built around not the physical reality of different racial makeups but rather what he calls "a shared mental complexion." To make a brand relevant, companies need to understand that multicultural advertising is no longer a niche strategy: multicultural is what America looks like.

And that is why I look up to him.

‘Out of the Box’ sculptures by Jurjen Semeijn. The Amsterdam-based creative destroyed the shoe boxes of the most recognizable sneakers and rebuild them by putting the destroyed boxes back together. Nice idea!

LISTEN TO THIS RICH MOTHERFUCKER

Some material things make my life more enjoyable; many, however, would not. I like having an expensive private plane, but owning a half-dozen homes would be a burden. Too often, a vast collection of possessions ends up possessing its owner. The asset I most value, aside from health, is interesting, diverse, and long-standing friends.
